ABOUT
At Skin Body Rescue Clinic our experienced professionals use a combination of efficient Brazilian body treatments to achieve the desired results.
Slimming Brazilian Massage is a combination of Lymphatic Drainage and Modelling Massage
When used together, lymphatic drainage and modelling massage provide a mix of health benefits. This treatment improves the body as a whole using a great combination of manual lymphatic drainage techniques that stimulate the lymphatic system to work better and are intended to eliminate the excess of liquids and toxins, strengthen the immune system, increase tissue oxygenation, reduce fluid retention and improve circulation through specific movements using gentle pressure.
After this process, the precise manoeuvres of modelling massage are executed firmly and quickly which can reduce cellulite, regenerate the tissues, relax the muscles, improve the skin’s appearance, and tones the overall body.

HOW IT WORKS
The therapy is divided into two steps: Manual Lymphatic Drainage followed by Modelling Massage.
In the first step, manual lymphatic drainage is performed to boost the lymphatic system to work better. The lymphatic system works as a third blood circulation method, in addition to the arterial and venous actions. Lymph is the fluid that circulates through this network of lymphatic vessels; it is rich in proteins, white blood cells, and microorganisms, but also carries bacteria and toxins. Its appearance is viscous and yellowish. The lymph is like blood, as it performs metabolic changes with the cells which are then collected by the vessels of the lymphatic system, returning to the lymph nodes. The lymph nodes are found throughout the body. They are an essential part of the immune system. Their function is to help the body recognise and fight off germs, infections and other foreign substances. This is where the lymph collected from the vessels is directed to be filtered.
During this therapy, the lymph that has been accumulated in the cells is routed out of the body. This is possible by stimulating the lymph nodes and making movements from the lymph to the places that will eliminate it. Knowing precisely the locations and the direction of the movements during the drainage will bring the expected benefits. Through gentle manoeuvres, the professional drains the impurities so you’ll feel lighter and wholly relaxed.
After this first procedure, the therapy is followed by step two: the Modelling Massage. Through fast and firm manoeuvres, with the goal of body shaping, this technique improves the appearance of the skin tone and body contours, as well as preventing and reducing cellulite. This massage supports the remodelling or redistribution of the corporal contours by improving the circulation and oxygenation of the tissues.
